Is this correct?

  This was forwarded to me today from an EverQuest2 player:

"I was asked to post these memory tweaks for vista, to enable use of more then 2GB of RAM in Vista 32bit.

Start -> Run -> cmd.exe

Type this:
BCDEdit /set PAE forceenable

And:
BCDEdit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072

Quit and reboot. You'll be using 3.5GB of RAM and EQ2 will load faster run smoother and taste better."

  Is this valid?

  I know when I try to enter this, I get an error; "The boot configuration data store could not be opened. Access is denied."

  I am assuming this must be do to Vista's built-in protection and needs to be disabled in order to do this. But is this legitimate? I don't want to have any issues by sticking something in that will just cause me to rebuild later.
