My Inspiron 8600 Monitor began to blink occasionally the other day.  What I mean by blinks, is it reacts like the power supply cord is being removed even when it isn't.  I believe it to be a power problem of some type because as I said it reacts like the cord is being removed.  If the quickset setting has the monitor brightness for battery set at "3" and on plugged in set at "max" it blinks to dim and then back to full brightness.  If I adjust quickset battery to max then it does not dim it just blinks like the cord is being pulled.  However I doubt it is the cord because the same thing happens when it is on battery and the cord is not even attached.  It does not always happen and when it does it blinks for a second or two then normal.  Usually it will repeat several times an hour and then stop and work normal.  I can not seem to do anything to cause it, or  to make it repeat, or to make it stop.  Any Ideas?  Thanks
