Hi everyone, just want to share that I have initiated a return for my 2408 which I thought would perform as or better than my friends 2407 rev A04.  I was very disapointed and I just spoke to my sales rep after more than 2 weeks requesting a return it's finally happening.

 

They asked the reason and I put it clearly : It's a 700$ monitor, but worst than the previous 2407 A04 and I don't understand why I received something that is worth maybe 400-500$ like many others, I feel deceived, and then they offered a replacement to which I replied that Dell had 1 opportunity to convince me that their product was worth what I paid for and they did convince me but only that try to save money on parts and the result is this, me sending it back all fees reimbursed.  Plus I must say that when I first bought it with equal payment program, the total comes up to 1100$ if I pay according to the 48 months payment.  Some might say I agreed to that, but I accepted it with the intentions of paying within 3 months and save a lot of interest.  My point is, some people will pay 1100$ for this monitor and it's such a joke!  Samsung is the panel they use and is the same in the 245T which I'm going to get pretty soon.

Sorry for the long post, hope you'll all get a rev 01 pretty soon if you don't want to return it, honestly I don't see why you would keep such hardware made to enrich Dell shareholders by selling you expensive parts bought at such a discount they are not working as they should even though they had it working with the 2407 rev 04 but the progress stopped there.
