VNXe3150 iSCSI configuration

Hi

I have got 1 problem and 1 question about iSCSI configuration. I tried to look for answers on the Internet, but there is no clear clue. It is my first iSCSI configuration, so please let me know what I do wrong.

Problem:

We have 1 VNXe3150 and 2 servers, there are no virtual machines, just Windows Server 2012 R2 installed on them. At the moment we use VNX as shared folder, but we are going to move database there, so for this we need to configure iSCSI drives to use storage as local drive. I tried to configure iSCSI, disks are visible in Computer Management and I can make partition. The problem is that when I put there some files from server 1 then they are not visible at server 2, also when I do the same ar server 2, files are not visivle at server 1. Only when I turn offline and online disks then I see files from second server. What I have to do to have got an access to the same files from both servers at the same time?

Question:

I have one more question about creating new iSCSI storage. At the beginning I have to choose server (SPA or SPB). Does it mean that if I choose one server and it would fail in the future then I would lost access to storage? Do I have then to create 2 storages (at SPA and SPB) and make a mirrored disk at servers?

Best regards

Lukas
