If I have multiple sata hard drives (I have 3 installed in my xps 410) can I disable the winxp hard drive in the bios and install vista on another drive and then just use the bios to disable one drive to run either vista or winxp. To run vista I would just disable the winxp sata drive in the bios and to run winxp just disable the vista sata drive in the bios. The 3rd sata drive is just storage be enabled all the time. Will this work or is it asking for trouble? Basically I am just asking if I can use the bios to choose the boot drive without running into problems?
