Today I went ahead and performed a clean install of Windows Vista Ultimate on my recent Dell E1505 purchase due too much 'bloatware' coming with it. Anyways everything was going great until I went to reinstall the Dell ResourceCD. The resource CD installed perfectly until I got this error: Error #339 was generated by ResourceCD Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid Please reinstall this application from Add/Remove Programs in Control Center I've gone ahead and uninstalled it, rebooted, reinstalled it, rebooted, and still I am getting the same error message. I searched Google and even the Dell support forums but everything seems to point towards Windows XP and PC Hijackings. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
