About Defect ID 240350 on linux clients
Hi,
I have updated vWorkspace from 7.6 to 8.0.
My clients have Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and I'm having some troubles with the keyboard. Sometimes, when users log on to a virtual desktop, the keyboard stops working.
I've readed at the "release notes" document (http://documents.quest.com/DOC69662) that there is a Defect ID 240350 = USB keyboard is automatically shared after USB server daemon is started.
I think that this is related with my current problem, and this is a very important issue.
Can I know when it's planned having a solution for this issue?

Hi Mau,
That bug states that the keyboard stops working locally rather than remotely.
However, I have seen what you're describing. I remember clicking on the connection bar a couple of times and then the keyboard jumped back into life.
Can you try that and let me know if that works for you?
If it does, I'll look through my old notes to see if I fixed it or just rebuilt the Linux box.
