RD connection to virtualization host consumes a license?
Why would this be? I'm simply remoting in to my Hyper-V server using a standard RDP connection from my desktop which does not have the vWorkspace client on it.

OK, I'd recommend raising a support case so someone can get on a call and take a look with you.

No, it is not set up as RDSH.

Hello,
It's not what is installed on the client but how the HyperV Server is configured.
Normally a HyperV server wouldn't use a license so I suspect your HyperV server is also setup as an RDSH - can you confirm ?
Thanks, Andrew.

In the vWorkspace Management Console, If you go to File | Current User Sessions, what info does it have about your session ?
For example, Does it call it a Session Host or a Managed Desktop ?
Have you raised this with Support yet? It's not normal behaviour so they'll probably need to take a look.

It says Session Host even when I am not connected and the license is released. It's like the session never goes away.
