I recently installed a WD Caviar Black 1TB hard drive to my Dell XPS 410. I cannot connect to the internet and when I tried troubleshooting went to the device manager and there are yellow question marks next to "other devices" namely, Ethernet controller, PCI Device, SM Bus Controller and Video Controller (VGA Compatible) . I have tried uninstalling them and restarting, I have tried installing off a Dell Drivers and utilities disk. I am a total layman; one thing I think may be wrong is, when we installed the hard drive it went to the "H" not C drive. I think these drivers are looking for the C drive if that's posslble? When I try to update each driver the hardware wizard cannot find the software, regardless of whether I I put the drivers disk in, etc. I have also tried to change the name of the driver and followed that scenario and it would not allow me. I think there must be a simple fix out there if anyone can help me i'd be very much obliged. thanks
