Hi everyone,

I just started "working" as a cluster admin. It is not really a job, it is more like: "hey you, try to use this for your programs".

I have been searching for some documentation but there is not a "big book" to solve the issue, si I've decided to give this forum a try and learn some usefull stuff about cluster-managment-other topics.

 

In a few words:

 

I have 3 nodes (PowerEdge R320, R820, R7425).

1 Switch Model N4032.

1 fiber connected (NAS?) HD's Model 1400

 

I want to make a clúster runs starting with this from scratch. 

 

I want to use R320 as login acces (maybe with virtual machine), but first of all, I would like this node to "start", I installed Centos7 but it stop at certain boot point waitting for a "IP" 

 

CLIENT MAC ADDR: XXXXXXXX 

DHCP....*

 

I've read about configuring iDrac but I do not understand how to acces via web navigator because I cannot run the OS.

 

In the end, I DO NOT want a main solution but if someone can wrote a guide like: 

1- Configure switch that allows ....

2- Install OS in login node, configure .....

(look here --> www.help.com)

3- configure iDrac to manage remotely the cluster ....

 

It would be apreciate. I will continue searching for some info. Thanks a lot !
