Hi,

I want to upgrade my Dell PowerEdge R210 II to 32GB of memory. I've seen in the technical guide of the device (chap. 7 Memory) the following line:
"Low-voltage (LV) DIMM supported @ 3.5V only"

Altough the majority of memory being selled to this device have 1.5 Volts.

Does the 1.5 Volts memory work on the device? If they do, can someone tell me what are the main differences between 1.5V and 3V memories?
