I recently took a RAID adapter out of my Poweredge 2200 and put it in an Optiplex GX150. I, then, hooked up 3 SCSI drives and booted and receieved the following error message:

"Host adapter at baseport EC90H is not responding... Strike F1 to continue etc.."

I checked the forums and it seems like many people get this message but with different numbers (i.e. instead of EC90H they have FC90h or FD03C).

I then troubleshooted...
Unplugged all the drives -> Error message persists
Tried plugging just two drives in -> Error message persists
Tried plugging just one drive in -> Error message persists
Changed PCI slots twice -> Error message persists
Tried booting off of old Server Assistant CD -> Doesn't boot correctly

I am stumped. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
