Ghost PowerEdge Server

I am trying to ghost an old 2300PE server to a new 1750PE server.

The taking of the ghost image is fine - but of course it fails to run on the new server as the PERC4 controller was not present on the 2300.

In the past I resolved this issue by installing the new PERC device on the old server then ghosting - after applying the image to the new machine - windows would find the PERC controller and load fine from there.  Then I would remove the PERC controller that was no longer being used (the 2300 (A perc2) in this case)

But for some reason Windows2000 will not let me add the PERC4 driver/device without it being present.  I downloaded the driver file - saved the extratced files to a folder and run the Add/Remove hardware wizard.  But when it looks at the OEM.inf file it cannot see what type of device it is.  Am I getting the wrong file here?  Does anyone know another way to do this?

Thanks

Robert
