I don't know if I'm in the right forum or not.. I have a Dell Computer, 4600 series.  Lately when I turn it on, it hasthe Dell logo, then it goes black with a cursor flash in the left hand corner. It takes 8 minutes forit go to the login screen. I have done a restore for 3 weeks back. I have deleted startup items that

was on the startup programs listed. but is still doing it.. Hope someone can or is willing to help me

correct this problem. Dell wants 40.00 to help me.
