UNSOLVED
"Please insert the correct CD-ROM...
...select OK and restart application."
This is the warning I'm getting, with the correct CD inserted in the drive!
Running WindowsXP Home Edition.
I've followed the advice in Microsoft KB article 228985 (worth looking at if you're suffering from the same bug!), and installed the patches recommended, but to no avail. The games in question appear to install OK, and I suspect the problem is to do with their copyright protection. The titles are Thief2 and Myst 3 - Exile.
they run OK on my son's Millennium system, and this may be a problem limited to XP!
