Wireless 350 Bluetooth Module

The Vostro 1700 system offers the optional internal Bluetooth daughter card  which is the Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Module for Windows Vista so even though u forgot ordering it earlier, you may still contact Dell sales department at # 1-800-999-3355 and also online at the following address, this support is open 24 hours and a sales agent will gladly assist you buying the Bluetooth card.You chat with them at  - http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/en/chat?c=us&cs=19&l=e  and select the "Chat With Sales" option.

The Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Module is located at the top edge of the system above the keyboard. To access it, you only need to remove the hinge cover. This device is a Customer replaceable unit, so you can do it easily.

After you are done with it, and it does not work, the steps u need to do are:

• Check the BIOS to ensure the wireless card is detected. Also verify the Wireless setting is turned on and not set to Always Off.
• If the Bluetooth device is installed, also verify the radio LED is enabled. You can turn the wireless and Bluetooth cards on or off with the wireless switch Or pressing FN+F2 keys together.
• If the card does not show up in the BIOS or Device Manager, try reseating the card.

Hi Pooh,

May it work with my new Vostro 1510? When I ordered it through the web I didn't have the chance to choose between having or not bluetooth module. Perhaps the best choose is BT 360? What about the OS? (I have ordered it with Windows Vista Home Premium.
