Hello all,

My Optiplex GX 280 running XP Pro SP2 with all current updates keeps losing taskbar icons. I used to (should) have:

Clock
Speaker Volume
Network
AVG Anti virus
Windows Defender
Cacheman XP

Now when I start up cold I am missing Windows Defender, AVG and Speaker Volume.

If I open the “missing” programs via Start>Programs they seem to be already running, but the icons are missing….any thoughts?
