XPS 13 PLUS power button inquiry

Hello,

The power button next to the backspace seems to go deeper than the other buttons.

If look sideways, can clearly see the difference.

Is this normal?

Most likely yes, since the button would be recessed to prevent accidentally pressing it.

On and off. Button does not activate XPS. The power cord is being used. ???
