Solution
Sandisk's smart manufacturing is powered by the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, enabling AI and agentic AI solutions like PrimeGPT and Vision AIoT. Its AI platform runs on Dell PowerEdge XE-Series servers with NVIDIA accelerated computing and Dell PowerMax storage, implemented with support from Dell Services and Pentech Solution.
Impact
The AI initiatives increase lights-out operations from 80% to 95% and accelerate the product design process. This has led to a 32% reduction in factory costs, a 46% drop in energy use, a 45% decrease in CO2 emissions and a 54.5% cut in lead time. Quality improves as defects falls from 800 to 100 parts per million.
