In this video, we will demonstrate how to install Windows 11 on a Hyper-V manager. Before you begin, ensure that you have created a virtual machine in Hyper-V Manager. For more information, see the Creating a virtual machine in Hyper-V Manager video. Click Connect and then click Start to power on the virtual machine.
Then press any key on your keyboard to boot from the CD or DVD. Next, enter your language and other preferences, and then click Next. Click Install Now. If the Activate Windows page is displayed, and if you want to use the Windows MAK volume license, then enter a product key, but if you want to use OEM version of Windows, click I don’t have a product key. Next, select the operating system you want to install and click Next.
Note, Image Assist supports the Windows Professional and Enterprise versions of the operating system. Read and accept the license agreement and click Next. Then, select the Custom: Install Windows only option. Select the unallocated space and click Next. After the operating system is installed, the virtual machine reboots automatically. Finally, after the virtual machine is rebooted, follow the instructions on the screen to complete setting up the Windows operating system.
This completes the process of installing Windows 11 on your virtual machine. You can now set up and start using Image Assist.
