"INSTALLATION: 1) Ensure Identity Module's exe file does not have ""BSU"" ( Board Service Util) in its file name. 2) Extract .pm from the zip pack exe. 3) Login to iDRAC web GUI , navigate to 'Update and Rollback' link on left pane. 4) Using 'Firmware Update' tab, browse to the ""Cust"" .pm file and upload it. 5) Under the 'Update Details' section, select your .pm file. Ensure 'Current' and 'Available' revisions are as expected. 6) Click 'Install' button. 7) Go to 'Job Queue' tab and wait for your install job to change from 'New' to 'Completed'. 8) Navigate to 'Troubleshooting' link on left pane. Click on 'Diagnostic' tab on right. Click on 'iDRAC rest to Default Settings' link. Note: This step will set V4 DHCP to Std Dell's default value of disabled. Wait for iDRAC reboot to complete ( about 4 minutes ).Enable V4 DHCP (assuming that was current setting). 11) Reboot the system.Wait for System to complete followed by one more self-reboot before you see updated BIOS splash logo. 12) Verify that the tab -->'System Inventory' --> 'Firmware Inventory' shows 'Identity Module' as a component with new revision. 13) Verify the Branding changes ( on iDrac GUI and System) are working. 14) Restore ( if any ) iDRAC user settings that were noted during 'Preparation' above.
******************* 'Identity Module DUP' ( aka PM DUP). ******************* Note: 1) None of the below methods using DUP are supported for users upgrading from OEMReady rev 1.0 to rev 1.01. These are listed here for those users trying to switch back to rev 1.01 from a later revision of OEM Ready. 2)For users upgrading from OEMReady revision 1.0, using ""Cust"" .pm file is the only supported method. 3) All below methods are for updating installed Identity Module and not for Fresh Install.
PREPARATION: 1) Ensure you have IdentityModule DUP for the appropriate 12G platform and that your system is already Debranded using at least OEMReady Identity Module revision 1.01. 2) Ensure you have iDRAC revision 1.30.30 or later and Lifecycle Controller revision 1.1.1.18 or later. 3) Ensure you have appropriate windows or Linux IdentityModule DUP matching your OS.

INSTALLATION ( iDRAC GUI method):
Note: Only windows DUP are supported for this method. 1) Login to Idrac GUI. Navigate to 'Update and Rollback' link and using ""Firmware Update"" tab, browse to the windows DUP on your machine. 2) Upload the windows DUP and confirm ""Package successfully downloaded"" message under 'Update details'. 3) Click on 'Install next reboot' or 'Install and Reboot' button as appropriate. 4) Navigate to 'Job Queue' page and confirm that the job completed. 5) Let the iDRAC reboot complete ( dependingupon install option you chose in step 3). 6) Reboot host. 7) Verify the Branding changes ( on iDrac GUI and System) are working.
