Symptoms

From the SourceOne console 'Indexing' tab, a problem index has a 'Missing Items' Status field that cannot be repaired with the 'Rebuild Index' option.
Indexing of messages with a DWG attachment fails.
The ExAsScraper.exe process, which is spawned by the ExAsIdxObj.exe indexing process, fails.
An event is logged in the Microsoft Windows Application event log which contains this relevant information:
 

Faulting application name: ES1AsScraper.exe, version: 7.2.8.40
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Faulting application path:<SourceOne install path here>\EXPBA\bin\ES1AsScraper.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

Cause

This issue is a software defect.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available in the release following 7.2 SP9.
