PowerFlex Unable to clone Templates as Template already exists

Symptoms

When creating a Template using the clone option with PFxM UI , the process(Finish) will not complete and an error  HTTP 409 Conflict or connection refused is generated 

detailedMessage=The operation cannot be performed because the template id already exists

 

Cause

Problem with the source clone template 

Resolution

  • Validate that the template is correct
  • Create a fresh template 
  • Clone from another template
