Oversigt: PowerEdge-systemer logger muligvis ikke altid nedgraderede PCIe-links i livscyklus (LC) eller systemhændelseslogfiler (SEL).

Symptomer

En server kan opleve problemer med ydeevnen på grund af et nedgraderet PCIe-link, men ikke logge det på LC eller SEL. I disse tilfælde skal du se operativsystemet for at kontrollere, om der er et uventet nedgraderet PCIe-link.

Årsag

Dell BIOS omfatter kontroller for uventet nedgradering af PCIe-link både upstream og downstream, men der er situationer, hvor dette kan forekomme efter BIOS-kontrollen og derfor ikke blive logget.

Løsning

Brug operativsystemværktøjerne til at gennemgå forhandlet PCIe-linkhastighed.
