Symptome
Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) 11.5(4) mostra il seguente messaggio quando si applica e si testa una configurazione Call Home.
Command failed: Invocation failed; nested exception is: .ejb.EJBException: java.lang.NullPointerException
Ursache
L'errore si verifica dopo un aggiornamento a DCNM 11.5.4 o un nuovo deployment di DCNM 11.5.4. Finora, questo comportamento è stato osservato su deployment DCNM con Windows e OVA.
Lösung
Si tratta di un problema di entità minore del software. Tutto dovrebbe comunque funzionare come previsto.
Soluzione alternativa:
- Dopo aver configurato Call Home, premere il pulsante "Apply" anziché "Apply and Test" come illustrato nell'immagine di seguito.
- Dopo aver applicato la configurazione, generare una trap dallo switch utilizzando il seguente comando CLI di test di Call Home:
MDS-switch# test pfm snmp test-trap fan
- Se Call Home funziona correttamente, l'utente deve ricevere un avviso di test all'indirizzo e-mail configurato.
Non sono necessarie altre operazioni.
