Falla el respaldo inicial orientado a aplicaciones de PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM)

Cause

En un momento dado, se instaló una versión anterior del software Microsoft SQL Application Direct. Cuando se quita de la computadora, se deja atrás la caja de seguridad antigua. La versión actual del software no puede actualizar lockboxes más antiguos.

Este problema puede ocurrir cuando se utilizaron versiones anteriores del software o cuando se realizó la transición de respaldos de Microsoft SQL Application Direct a respaldos compatibles con aplicaciones de VMware.

 

Resolution

  1. Cambiar el nombre del directorio de la caja de seguridad

    ren  C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox,previous

  2. Vuelva a intentar el respaldo

Nota: El directorio de caja de seguridad se vuelve a crear al comienzo del siguiente respaldo.
