Hvis du forsøger at afinstallere Dell Encryption ved hjælp af den eksekverbare Dell Encryption Uninstaller-fil (C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\Dell Data Protection\DataSecurityUninstaller.exe) på slutpunkter med aktiv Pre-Boot-godkendelse, afsluttes afinstallationsprogrammet straks med en generisk fejl.

DDPUninstall_Main.log i C:\ProgramData\Dell\Dell Data Protection\ viser ikke yderligere oplysninger om fejlen.

For at køre Dell Encryption Uninstaller på et slutpunkt, der er beskyttet med Dell Full Disk Encryption eller Dell Encryption Self-Encrypting Drive Manager, skal du først deaktivere Pre-Boot Authentication.
