Windows Swift Pair Notification Does Not Appear With Dell Pair Installed

Windows 10 or Windows 11 native Bluetooth swift pair notifications may not appear when Bluetooth devices are brought near the detection range of the computer.

Dell Pair supports the following:

• Detect Dell devices like a mouse and keyboard when they are within detection range to pair over Bluetooth.
• Pair devices through Bluetooth.

Dell Pair leverages swift pair functionality. Some computers may lag in swift pair advertisement when Dell Pair software is installed.

Stop Dell Pair Service and then switch the Swift Pair notification option off and then back on again to restore Swift Pair behavior.

1. Press the Windows Start button.
2. Search for and then open Task Manager.
3. Locate Dell Pair Service, right-click it, and then select End Task.
   
4. Switch the Windows Swift Pair notification off and back on again.
   • Windows 11: Open Windows Settings, then go to Bluetooth & devices, Devices, Add Devices, and then Device settings. Clear and then reselect the Show notifications to connect using Swift Pair option.
   • Windows 10: Open Windows Settings, then go to Devices, then Bluetooth & other devices. Clear and then reselect the Show notifications to connect using Swift Pair option.
