Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager-enheden bruges til at beskytte vSphere-miljøet med VM Direct Engine-løsningen. VM Direct Engine-udrulningen i en DMZ-klynge (demilitariseret zone) mislykkes under initialiseringsfasen. Status for systemjob viser:

ProxySession unsuccessful during initialization. Unable to deploy and verify the vProxy my-proxy.my-domain.com. Unable to query vProxy status after 'Deploy'. Request unsuccessful. Unable to connect to External vproxy 'my-proxy.my-domain.com' on port '9090', the host service is not running.

Cause

PowerProtect-enheden har ikke adgang til VM Direct Engine over port 9090.

Resolution

Miljøet, firewallen eller netværket skal konfigureres, så PowerProtect-enheden kan kommunikere med VM Direct Engine via port 22 og 9090.
