Isilon: SyncIQ-taak mislukt met "SyncIQ failed to take a snapshot on source cluster. Snapshots initialisatiefout"

Probleem

Een SyncIQ-beleid mislukt binnen de eerste vijf minuten na het starten met een fout Snapshots initialization error.
 

Symptomen

Een SyncIQ-beleid mislukt vrijwel onmiddellijk en er wordt een waarschuwing weergegeven die lijkt op het volgende:

Het volgende wordt vastgelegd in /var/log/messages op het coördinatorknooppunt:

Oorzaak

De bronhoofdmap die in het SyncIQ-beleid is gedefinieerd, is ingesteld op iets binnen /ifs/.snapshot. Dit is geen ondersteunde configuratie.
 

Controleer het probleem.

In het SyncIQ-beleid is de "source root directory" ingesteld op een /ifs/.snapshot/ directorypad. Bijvoorbeeld:

Let op: de foutmelding "Failing snap_create. Non-head file to snapshot." Het is niet mogelijk om een snapshot van een snapshot te maken, daarom faalt het beleid.
