Symptoms
NetWorker Module for Database Applications (NMDA) MySQL backup failing with message:
Wrong '!include' directive in config file /nsr/apps/tmp/NMDA_<random numbers>.cnf at line 2A directive is configured in one of the groups in /etc/my.cnf, for example:
[client] !include /mysql/install/instance/etc/client.my.cnf port = 3306
Cause
The use of directives in the /etc/my.cnf file is not yet supported.
Resolution
Remove any directives in .etc.my.cnf.
