Symptoms
When attempting to create a zone or a Device alias by pasting commands into the CLI, the command gets pasted in reverse order.
Example:
- Command:
zonecreate “NEW_HBA1_PowerMax”, “NEW_HBA1;PowerMax” - Reversed Order:
NEW_HBA1; PowerMax_HBA1_PowerMaxzonecreate
Cause
This is caused due to incorrect double quotes being used, likely due to the keyboard Language settings.
As shown in the example above, there is a difference between “ ” and " "
Resolution
Ensure the correct double quotes (" ") are used.
Example:
zonecreate "NEW_HBA1_PowerMax", "NEW_HBA1; PowerMax"
