Symptoms

You encounter external video issues (no video, video loss, and so forth) when using the following Dell Pro Max Premium systems and the left side USB Type-C ports with docking stations.

Dell Pro Max 14 Premium MA14250
Dell Pro Max 14 Premium MA14250 Left Side Ports

Dell Pro Max 16 Premium MA16250
Dell Pro Max 16 Premium MA16250 Left Side Ports

Affected Platforms:

Cause

This issue is caused by the NVIDIA video driver.

Resolution

Video Driver Update

NVIDIA will release a driver to fix this issue, but there is no current ETA.

As a workaround to avoid external video issues, change the BIOS Graphic Mode setting to Hybrid mode until the NVIDIA video driver is released.
