Error deploying Avamar vCenter plugin for vSphere version 8 and above

Symptoms
Errors similar to below are seen in the installation log:

Cause
The Avamar vCenter plugin is unsupported for v8 and above. Compatibility Guide for Avamar Virtualization 19.12, footnote 50598:
HTML5 vCenter plugin is supported only from vSphere 6.5 to vSphere 7.0U3. For vSphere 6.0 or below and vSphere 8.0 or above versions, please use the vCenter authentication mechanism via the HTML5 Avamar UI.

Resolution
Use the regular Avamar UI for backup and restore operations.
