Symptoms

I backup delle VM hanno esito negativo dopo essere stati eseguiti per un determinato periodo di tempo. L'interfaccia utente mostra il codice di errore ABV0016 e il messaggio:

VM direct engine local host is unable to backup the virtual machine because the API issue

Task Name Status: Perform LWD-based snapshot sync
Cannot complete the operation. See the event log for details. A disk was closed during the operation. This can happen due to VM lifeCycle events such as VM power off, vMotion and HA failover. The operation should be retried.

Errore di sincronizzazione delle istantanee basato su LWD

CloudDR, il prodotto VMware, esegue azioni di istantanee sulla VM al momento del backup della VM da parte di PowerProtect Data Manager. Nello screenshot precedente, è possibile osservare l'attività "Reconfigure virtual machine" eseguita da CloudDR quando è in esecuzione il backup di PowerProtect Data Manager. Ciò causa l'esito negativo del backup di PowerProtect Data Manager.

Cause

Sovrapposizione delle attività di backup di PowerProtect Data Manager e CloudDR di VMware

 

Resolution

Modificare la pianificazione di CloudDR di VMware per evitare sovrapposizioni tra le attività di CloudDR e il backup di PowerProtect Data Manager.
