Symptoms

V prostředí SRDF v kaskádě ignoruje příkaz DEV, EXPAND stav propojení R21->R2 a velikost zařízení R2 a odešle požadavek na rozšíření, který způsobuje selhání rozšíření se zprávou:

Cause

Příčinou je problém se softwarem.

Resolution

Trvalá oprava: 
  • Pro mainframe Enablers 8.5 byl k nápravě problému vyvinut nástroj PTF SF85096. Je k dispozici ke stažení z online podpory společnosti Dell.
  • Pro mainframe Enablers 8.4 byl k nápravě problému vyvinut nástroj PTF SF84152 . Je k dispozici ke stažení z online podpory společnosti Dell.
  • Pro mainframe Enablers 8.3 byl k nápravě problému vyvinut nástroj PTF SF83204. Je k dispozici ke stažení z online podpory společnosti Dell.

Device symdv# [RDFG srdfgrp] failed expansion due to reason
Cause
The indicated device cannot be expanded due to the reason described in reason. If the failing device is in an SRDF relationship with the device specified in your DEV,EXPAND command, it is shown as symdv# RDFG srdfgrp where srdfgrp is the SRDF group of the device.
