Symptoms

In de trapsgewijze SRDF-omgeving negeert de OPDRACHT DEV de R21->R2-koppelingsstatus en de grootte van het R2-apparaat en verzendt de uitbreidingsaanvraag die de uitbreidingsfout veroorzaakt met het bericht:

Cause

Dit wordt veroorzaakt door een softwareprobleem.

Resolution

Permanente oplossing: 
  • Voor Mainframe Enablers 8.5 is PTF SF85096 ontwikkeld om het probleem te verhelpen. Het is beschikbaar om te downloaden van Dell Online Support.
  • Voor Mainframe Enablers 8.4 is PTF SF84152 ontwikkeld om het probleem te verhelpen. Het is beschikbaar om te downloaden van Dell Online Support.
  • Voor Mainframe Enablers 8.3 is PTF SF83204 ontwikkeld om het probleem te verhelpen. Het is beschikbaar om te downloaden van Dell Online Support.

Device symdv# [RDFG srdfgrp] failed expansion due to reason
Cause
The indicated device cannot be expanded due to the reason described in reason. If the failing device is in an SRDF relationship with the device specified in your DEV,EXPAND command, it is shown as symdv# RDFG srdfgrp where srdfgrp is the SRDF group of the device.
