Resolution

  1. Go to the LIA conf file and open it.
    • Linux location: "/opt/emc/scaleio/lia/cfg/conf.txt"
    • Windows location: "C:\Program Files\EMC\scaleio\lia\cfg\conf.txt"
  2. "lia_token" value is the hashed value of the token provided on installation, replace it with the token you want to use. Below is an example
    Before change:

    lia_token=3d32aa40caffcce4ba40811bccd97dbe3531fb0797119f59ec1b633cb3a5a85a
    After change:
    lia_token=Scaleio123!

  3. Restart the LIA agent service
    • On Linux: Run the next command

      pkill lia

    • On Windows: Open cmd and run the next command

      net stop lia_service && net start lia_service

  4. LIA will rehash the token and apply the new token.
