Boot Failure When Virtualization-based Security (VBS) Enabled Under Windows 10 with Intel Virtual Technology Disabled

Symptoms
The system will stop the boot process at the Dell logo at first boot after disabling Intel Virtual technology in the BIOS setup with Virtualization-based Security (VBS) enabled under Windows 10.
Cause
VBS require hardware Virtual technology to work. Disabling Intel Virtual technology is an invalid operation that prevents the OS from booting.
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve this issue:
- Press the power button and reenter the BIOS.
- To use VBS functionality, set VBS and Intel Virtual technology to enabled.
- To disable Virtual technology, disable Virtual technology and VBS.
- Save the changes and reboot the system.
Note: Do not enable VBS with Intel Virtual technology disabled.
