SourceOne Email Management: Indexes in Inconsistent Content Cache state after Index Validation

Symptoms

In SourceOne 7.2 Service Pack 6, running SourceOne Index Validation against newly created indexes may mark the index state as "Inconsistent Content Cache".

After a rebuild of the index, the index will be marked in an Available state. If an Index Validation is run again on the newly rebuilt index, the index is marked in an "Inconsistent Content Cache" state again.

An index validation is the only method available to identify the problem indexes.

Cause

Not recorded.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in Hotfix Bundles (HFBs) or Service Pack versions on or higher than 7.2.6.6201. (7.2.6 + HFB 3) 
Hotfix Bundles and Service Pack kits are available for download from Dell Support.

Select 'Drivers & Downloads' to access the required software.

Hotfixes are only available for the most current patch or Service Pack versions of the product that were available when this problem was resolved.
Hot Fix Bundles (HFBs), they must be installed in the correct order for ALL fixes to be correctly applied.
Always upgrade to the latest version of the SourceOne release, service pack, and Hot Fix Bundle to ensure that all currently resolved issues are fixed.
