Note: Dell computers listed with Intel Comet Lake or older processors do not support HBR3.
Note: Dell computers with newer Ice Lake processors are expected to support HBR3 without the need for discrete graphics.
Dell Computer Models That Support HBR3
The following Dell computer models support HBR3.
Note: Any computer supporting Switchable Graphics must have this feature disabled in the BIOS (Figure 1) for HBR3 functionality.

Dell Computer Models That Do Not Support HBR3
The following models do NOT support graphics muxing (manual selection of graphics card used for processing) and as such will be limited to HBR2 (This includes those units ordered with discrete NVIDIA or AMD graphics).

Steps For Checking HBR2 or HBR3 Compatibility
The following steps can be used to find out if your processor has HBR2 or HBR3 compatibility.
Note: Tiger Lake (11th generation mobile processors) and newer should support HBR3 but to ensure this, follow the below steps for the HBR3 supportability.
Note:
- HBR2 supports a DisplayPort Max Resolution of 4096 x 2304 @ 60 Hz
- HBR3 supports a DisplayPort Max Resolution of 7680 x 4320 @ 60 Hz
- Go to Intel Search
.
- Search for the processor model that is installed in your computer (example: i5 12,600 K) and select the first search result.
- Locate the "Processor Graphics" and "Max Resolution DP" information (Figure 1 and 2).
