Dell AIOps Overview
Dell AIOps is a no-cost, cloud-based application that leverages Machine Learning to proactively monitor and measure the overall health of the Dell product portfolio through intelligent, comprehensive and predictive analytics. This article steps through the requirements to enable Dell AIOps on Dell PowerProtect Data Manager systems.
Prerequisites
- Valid Dell ProSupport contract (or higher) for all devices used with Dell AIOps
Devices are covered under ProSupport contracts on a per-device basis. To check if a device is covered, go to https://www.dell.com/support/contractservices and enter the device identifier. - Valid Dell Support user credentials

- Supported Release: PowerProtect Data Manager 19.0 or higher
Onboarding
Configure Secure Remote Services

Log in to PowerProtect Data Manager with administrator privileges and go System Settings > Support.

Upload a valid license for PowerProtect Data Manager, if it is not yet licensed.

After PowerProtect Data Manager is licensed, click Connect Now.

Select your connection type: Connect Directly or Connect via Gateway.

If connecting via gateway, enter the IP Address and Port for the gateway.

If preferred, select Remote Support to allow Dell engineers to troubleshoot the system remotely.

Generate an Access Key and PIN, using the instructions provided in the on-screen link.

Enter the Access Key and PIN in the boxes provided, and then click Enable Connect.

Complete the information on the Contacts tab (optional).

Go to the AutoSupport tab and select the Dell Connectivity option.
This option must be selected to send information to Dell AIOps. -
Toggle Enable AutoSupport to Enabled, then click Save.

Disabling Dell AIOps Data Collection
To stop sharing data with Dell AIOps, do the following:
- Log in to PowerProtect Data Manager with administrator privileges and go to System Settings > Support.
- In the Support dialog, select AutoSupport.
- Toggle Enable Auto Support to Disabled.
- Click Save.
Accessing Dell AIOps Portal:
Access Dell AIOps by going to https://aiops.dell.com in your browser.

Log in to Dell AIOps using your Dell Business Support credentials.

If you are a new user logging in to Dell AIOps for the first, you see the following onboarding screens.

Dell AIOps retrieves the systems that are associated to the user's site IDs based on your support credentials. Click Continue.

Once the command finishes, it shows the Success screen.

Upon logging in to Dell AIOps, you see all systems that are successfully sending data to Dell AIOps. In situations where the user has not successfully configured any systems to send data to Dell AIOps, they are directed to the Connectivity page in the Dell AIOps UI where they see their Dell AIOps-compatible systems.
