Avamar: Come utilizzare il menu Goav Network Data Management Protocol Firewall

Questa funzione è supportata in Goav versione 1.51 e successive.

 

Seguire le istruzioni riportate nell'articolo Dell 192151, Avamar: Goav tool, per scaricare e installare lo strumento Goav su Avamar. Ricapitolando:

  1. Scaricare lo strumento dal sito central.dell.com o, facoltativamente, utilizzare wget da Avamar.
  2. Rendere eseguibile lo strumento dopo averlo scaricato su Avamar.

 

Menu NDMP (Network Data Management Protocol) Firewall:

Usage:M
  goav ndmp firewall [command]

Available Commands:
  allowlist   NDMP firewall settings
  disable     Disable the NDMP firewall.
  enable      NDMP firewall enable
  setup       This will display firewall rules and configured NAS client addresses
  start       NDMP firewall start
  status      NDMP firewall status
  stop        NDMP firewall stop

Flags:
  -h, --help   help for firewall

Global Flags:
  -d, --debug      debug output
  -f, --force      Ignore Configuration
  -n, --noheader   Do no display header

Use "goav ndmp firewall [command] --help" for more information about a command.

 

Spiegazione dei comandi:

  • Disabilitare l'avvio del servizio firewall all'avvio:
    ./goav ndmp firewall disable --name <ndmp accelerator>
    
    The flag, "--name" is required.
  • Avviare il servizio firewall:
    ./goav ndmp firewall start --name <ndmp accelerator>
    
    The flag, "--name" is required.
  • Arrestare il servizio firewall:
    ./goav ndmp firewall stop --name <ndmp accelerator>
    
    The flag, "--name" is required.
  • Visualizzare lo stato di uno o più firewall:
    ./goav ndmp firewall status
  • Comando setup :
    • Esegue la scansione del file del firewall legacy (/etc/firewall-ips)
    • Esegue la scansione della configurazione dei client NAS nella directory /usr/local/avamar/var/<NAS Client>
    • Crea le regole del firewall
    • --build applica le regole del firewall all'acceleratore NDMP
    • Esegue il backup del file firewall /usr/local/avamar/lib/admin/security/avfwb_custom_config.txt
    • Riavvia il firewall se in esecuzione
    ./goav ndmp firewall setup

 

Menu dell'elenco consentiti del firewall NDMP:

This allows for users to Add/Remove CUSTOM firewall rules that are required for backups.  NAS filer IP addresses need to be ommited from Firewall

Usage:
  goav ndmp firewall allowlist [command]

Available Commands:
  add         Allows users to add ip(s) to the firewall which are required for NDMP backup/restore functionality to the NDMP Accelerator
  remove      Used to remove a NAS Filer IP address from a firewall allowlist
  show        Lists the Custom Firewall rules configured on NDMP Accelerator

Flags:
  -h, --help   help for allowlist

Global Flags:
  -d, --debug      debug output
  -f, --force      Ignore Configuration
  -n, --noheader   Do no display header

 

Spiegazione dei comandi:

  • Aggiungere gli indirizzi IP alle regole personalizzate del firewall:

    ./goav ndmp firewall allowlist add 
    
    Example: goav ndmp firewall allowlist add --ips 192.168.0.1,192.168.0.2,192.168.0.3 --name <ndmp accelerator>
    
    The flags, "--name" and "--ips" are required.

    Inoltre, esegue il backup del file firewall /usr/local/avamar/lib/admin/security/avfwb_custom_config.txt. Questa funzione è utile in caso di errore "Unable to establish data connection to address <IP ADDRESS,> port <#####>".

  • Rimuovere gli indirizzi IP dalle regole personalizzate del firewall:
    ./goav ndmp firewall allowlist remove 
    
    The flag, "--name" is required.
  • Visualizzare le regole personalizzate per il firewall sull'acceleratore NDMP:
    ./goav ndmp firewall allowlist show --name <ndmp accelerator>
    
    The flag, "--name" is required.
