NetWorker: As notificações por e-mail são interrompidas no servidor do Red Hat 8 após o upgrade para a versão 19.10

• O servidor do NetWorker está instalado no Red Hat 8:

• O NetWorker 19.10 foi instalado no sistema Red Hat 8.x. Pode ser uma instalação nova ou um upgrade de uma versão anterior do NetWorker.
• Os recursos da política de proteção do NetWorker foram configurados usando o Linux mail ou mailx comando:

• Antes do upgrade do NetWorker, as notificações por e-mail eram recebidas sem problemas.
• As mensagens de e-mail enviadas a partir da linha de comando do servidor do NetWorker também eram recebidas:

Uma das melhorias introduzidas no NetWorker 19.10 está relacionada ao SSL. O NetWorker fornece a própria biblioteca SSL que é exportada no arquivo networkerrc :

A versão do mail no Red Hat 8.x inclui uma biblioteca SSL com SSv3:

O NetWorker 19.10 removeu o SSLv3 da biblioteca por se tratar de uma possível vulnerabilidade de segurança e ser explorável:

O pacote do mail está usando uma biblioteca libssl antiga. O problema está no pacote do mail, portanto, fora do NetWorker.

Opção 1:

O administrador do mail ou do exchange pode analisar a configuração dos servidores do mail e verificar se há opções disponíveis para desativar o SSLv3 em favor do TLS 1.2.

Opção 2:

Uma correção para isso deve ser lançada no Linux mail ou mailx pacote. O mail deve ser atualizado para incluir um libssl que não use SSLv3. No momento da elaboração deste artigo da KB, o único pacote do mail listado para o Red Hat 8.x é o mailx-12.5-29.el8.x86_64, que foi lançado em 2019. O problema afeta esse pacote do mail. 

Confirme o pacote do mail instalado:

Solução temporária:

1. Atualize /opt/nsr/admin/networkerrc para conter OS_LIBS=/lib64 in the NetWorker environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Exemplo:

2. Reinicie o NetWorker:

No Red Hat 9.x, um pacote diferente fornece mail/mailx que usa uma biblioteca libssl antiga. Essa biblioteca mais recente não usa SSLv3. O problema não pode ser reproduzido e nenhuma solução temporária foi necessária com o NetWorker 19.10 no Red Hat 9.x.
