Symptoms

Dotčený notebook Latitude nemůže použít možnost Aktualizace Flash systému BIOS – vzdáleně z jednorázové spouštěcí nabídky klávesy F12. Počítač Latitude nemůže vstoupit do prostředí BIOSConnect a zobrazuje chybu "Unable to connect Wireless. Nastavte kabelové připojení pomocí ethernetového kabelu." K tomu dochází, pokud byla přeinstalována původní bitová kopie operačního systému nebo byl přeformátován pevný disk.

Cause

Formát disku odstraní soubor pro obnovení systému BIOS (RCV). Odstranění souboru RCV způsobí selhání bezdrátové funkčnosti nástroje BIOSConnect.

Resolution
