Symptoms

ESXi host VMkernel logs (/var/run/log/vmkernel.*) show events:

Cause

Splitter- en RecoverPoint Appliances (RPA's) communiceren via het MPI (Message Passing Protocol). Soms kan de opdracht om te controleren of de verbinding actief is mislukken.

Resolution

Deze gebeurtenis is goedaardig en heeft geen invloed.

Onderzoek is vereist als er andere splitter-gerelateerde fouten zijn, zoals DEGRADED Fouten in de status.

Er zijn opties om het aantal RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines Splitter-aanmelding in de VMkernel Log.
