Symptoms
Dell Optimizer 6.1へのアップグレード時にInstallShieldがアップグレード エラーを報告する
Dell Optimizerバージョン6.0から6.1へのアップグレード中に、InstallShieldウィザードで次のエラー メッセージが画面に表示されます。
Package Purchased Apps Error:
The setup must update files or services that cannot be
updated while the system is running. If you choose to
continue, a reboot will be required to complete the setup.
Cause
これは、x86 プロセスが x64 プロセスにアクセスできず、例外が発生するためです。
Resolution
注：オペレーティング システムの変更やソフトウェアのアップデートを行うには、デバイスの管理者権限が必要です。
エラー メッセージが表示されたら、[OK]をクリックして インストールを続行 します。インストールが完了し、アップデートが正常に完了します。
メモ: Dell Optimizer 6.1以降では、6.1から新しいバージョンにアップグレードしても、この問題は発生しません。
