| PSSLDF-28773 | Performing a non-disruptive upgrade (NDU) to PowerStoreOS 4.2 on a PowerStore cluster with metro volumes that are mapped to a Windows or Linux cluster may result in a Data Unavailable (DU) event. |
| PSSLDF-24333 | Performing a non-disruptive upgrade (NDU) to PowerStoreOS 4.2 on an appliance with an NVMe expansion enclosure may result in a Data Unavailable (DU) event due to an issue with upgrading the enclosure firmware. |
| PSSLDF-20147 | Upgrading the firmware on Intel SSDs may fail because of a timing issue during firmware activation, resulting in a Data Unavailable (DU) event. |
Known issues
| Issue ID | Description | Workaround |
| PSSLDF-32866 | When Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) is used with Metro volumes that are configured on ESXi hosts using Raw Device Mappings (RDMs), arbitration errors may appear in the Windows host log if a WSFC disk fails over. If a Windows node fails over, I/O may be interrupted. |
Use Windows Cluster Failover Manager to bring the failed disk online. |
Upgrade package
If automatic download is not enabled on your PowerStore cluster, download the PowerStore upgrade package from the Dell Technologies Support site.
The name of the upgrade package on the support site is PowerStore T OS Upgrade 4.2.0.1-2594695, and the file name of the downloadable upgrade package is PowerStore T OS Upgrade 4.2.0.1-2594695-retail.tgz.bin.
