Instructions

Virtuelle enheder (VDEV'er), som er mål for en SNAP-operation, bruges som input til IBM DFDSS-værktøjet til dump to tape.

Error msg:

ADR735W (001)-T0MI (06), 2009.199 03:23:02 USE OF CONCURRENT COPY FAILED FOR VOLUME APFI55,014. 
SERIALIZATION WILL BE HELD AND
ARC0640I ARCDVOL1 - CONCURRENT COPY WILL NOT BE USED


Samtidig kopiering forsøger at placere en 00xx SNAP-session på kildeenheden til DFDSS-handlingen. Concurrent Copy er en SNAP NOCOPY-handling. Handlingen Samtidig kopiering mislykkes. Årsagen er offentliggjort i TF/Clone Mainframe Snap Facility for z/OS V 10.2.0 Product Guide, s. 90:
 

"A virtual device (VDEV) cannot have a relation with any target device."


DFDSS-kopieringshandlingen er fuldført, så VDEV kan dumpes til bånd.

Men Concurrent Copy bruges ikke. Der udstedes en returkode på 4 sammen med en advarselsmeddelelse, ADR735W for jobbet.
