Virtuelle Geräte (VDEVs), die Ziele eines SNAP-Vorgangs sind, werden als Eingabe für das IBM DFDSS-Dienstprogramm für das Dump auf Band verwendet.

Fehlermeldung:

ADR735W (001)-T0MI (06), 2009.199 03:23:02 USE OF CONCURRENT COPY FAILED FOR VOLUME APFI55,014.

ARC0640I ARCDVOL1 - CONCURRENT COPY WILL NOT BE USED


Die gleichzeitige Kopie versucht, eine 00xx SNAP-Sitzung auf dem Quellgerät des DFDSS-Vorgangs zu platzieren. "Concurrent Copy" ist ein SNAP NOCOPY-Vorgang. Der gleichzeitige Kopiervorgang schlägt fehl. Der Grund dafür wird im TF/Clone Mainframe Snap Facility for z/OS V 10.2.0 Product Guide, S. 90, veröffentlicht:
 

"A virtual device (VDEV) cannot have a relation with any target device."


Der DFDSS-Kopiervorgang wird erfolgreich abgeschlossen, sodass das VDEV auf Band übertragen werden kann.

Concurrent Copy wird jedoch nicht verwendet. Der Rückgabecode 4 wird zusammen mit einer Warnmeldung ausgegeben, die für den Job ADR735W wird.
